Il mercato, almeno per il momento tiene. Non si scambia granché, ma le quotazioni milionarie di alcuni artisti che vanno per la maggiore non accennano a diminuire. Qualcuno invece si aspettava, forse si augurava, che queste sarebbero crollate. Così non è stato. Bene.         L'ennesimo Ritorno all'Ordine, uno dei molti che hanno tentato di attecchire negli ultimi anni, non pare avercela fatta neppure sfruttando la crisi. La preannunciata crisi creativa non c'è stata. Anzi, a giudicare da quanto succede in giro, dalle iniziative, dalle esposizioni, pare che stiamo proprio attraversando un periodo decisamente ricco. E' vero che la tendenza dominante è orientata alla ripetizione. Molti artisti, soprattutto i “giovani”, ripercorrono le esperienze che hanno segnato la storia del '900. Ma a giudicare dall'intensità e dall'energia con cui tali “ripetizioni” sono ri-proposte e soprattutto ri-vissute, non c'è traccia di stanchezza nella ripetizione.         Aspettiamo allora di vedere Making Worlds, la Biennale di Venezia, come sempre una delle vetrine più importanti, ma credo ragionevolmente che vi troveremo, come è sempre finora successo, una grande varietà di proposte, alcune interessanti, altre addirittura intriganti, altre meno.         E sempre in questa estate apre, in coincidenza con la Biennale, con la mostra Mapping the Studio, il nuovo spazio/museo di arte contemporanea della Punta della Dogana di François Pinault. E non è ancora tutto: la Fondazione Guggenheim aprirà una  grande mostra retrospettiva  dedicata a Robert Rauschenberg ed una torre gotica alta dieci metri realizzata dal fiammingo Wim Delvoye svetterà sul Canal Grande da Ca’ Venier dei Leoni.         Alla faccia della crisi, Venezia quest’estate gioca il suo jolly proponendosi al mondo, senza alcun timore di esagerare, come il luogo cardine della creatività contemporanea, rendendoci davvero molto molto orgogliosi. The major modern and contemporary Artists and Art: European Virtual Galleries Online, Exhibits & Events.   Luca Francesconi a Venezia  Il Corpo del Suono   Convinto che “il presente ascolta il passato e guarda il futuro”, il direttore Luca Francesconi costruisce il Festival cercando collegamenti tra generazioni diverse, tracciando un percorso tra passato e presente. Dopo l’edizione dello scorso anno, dedicata alla ricerca delle nostre radici per illuminare l’oggi, il 53. Festival circoscrive la sua indagine sul Corpo del suono. Il corpo torna al centro della scena sia nel rapporto uomo-macchina che nel rapporto con la tradizione. Da un lato si parte da Varèse – che per primo considera il suono come materia viva da esplorare abbracciando anche il rumore – e dai Futuristi – che innescano il rapporto con la tecnologia, per arrivare agli esiti della musica concreta, elettronica, oggettiva e agli sviluppi tecnologici più avanzati. Dall’altro c’è l’attenzione per la musica etnica, per tutto quel materiale popolare cui hanno attinto anche tanti autori di musica colta, un mondo legato alla tradizione orale, in cui il corpo parla attraverso la musica.
